Personal Profile
Yuan Yao, born in 1992, Ph.D. in Control Science and Engineering, Associate Professor, and Master's Advisor. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in June 2015 and his Ph.D. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in December 2020. He is a member of the IEEE, the Chinese Association of Automation, and the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering. He also serves as a reviewer for well-known academic journals such as Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics. He has previously served as the chair of a sub-forum at the 49th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IECON2023). He has undertaken and participated in various national and provincial-level scientific research projects, including the National Science and Technology Major Special Project and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as the Henan Province Science and Technology Key Project.
Currently, he leads the Young Scientist Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Young Talent Support Program of Henan Association for Science and Technology, Key Science and Technology Program of Henan Province, and Science and Technology Collaborative Innovation Special Project of Zhengzhou. He has published over 10 papers in SCI/EI, and applied for several invention patents.
Main Research Areas
His research focuses on intelligent manufacturing, industrial data value mining, and industrial automation, with the following specific areas:
（1）Data-centric artificial intelligence;
（2）Intelligent maintenance of high-end manufacturing equipment with self-sensing motor drive systems;
（3）Motion control and industrial automation.
