Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Technology Team of Transmission and Distribution Equipment
1. Research Directions
The team has long been engaged in the research on key technologies and equipment for power transmission and distribution in power systems, intelligent operation and maintenance of large-scale wind-solar power stations, design and development of new electrical engineering materials, condition monitoring of high-voltage electrical equipment, and other aspects. Currently, there are 7 full-time teachers in the team, including 2 professors, 1 associate professor, and 4 lecturers, all of whom hold a doctorate. In recent years, the team has presided over and participated in 12 national and provincial-level scientific research projects and 10 municipal-level projects, with over 3 million yuan of scientific research funds received. The team members have won 1 first prize for scientific and technological progress from the Ministry of Education, 1 first prize for scientific and technological achievements from the Ministry of Railways, 1 second prize for scientific and technological progress of Henan Province, 1 first prize and 2 second prizes for scientific and technological achievements from the Provincial Department of Education. They have published 48 SCI/EI papers and obtained authorization for 16 invention patents.
2. The main research directions include:
(1) Key technologies and equipment for power transmission and distribution in power systems. Research on key multidisciplinary technologies and equipment for important fields such as energy and electricity focuses on the new problems faced by high-voltage engineering in the development process of new power systems and centers on the safety and reliability of major power equipment.
(2) Intelligent operation and maintenance of large-scale wind-solar power stations. Mainly focusing on the research of intelligent operation and maintenance of large-scale wind-solar power stations and the research on the grid connection control of new energy, including the grid connection control of wind farms and photovoltaic power stations, as well as the research on the intelligent operation and maintenance of centralized new energy under extreme environments and complex conditions.
(3) Design and development of new electrical engineering materials. Research is mainly carried out in high-performance electrical engineering materials that can improve the reliability, intelligence, and environmental protection level of power equipment, including highly conductive and impact-resistant materials, superhydrophobic and strongly insulating materials, and dust-proof and corrosion-resistant materials.
(4) Condition monitoring of high-voltage electrical equipment. Research is mainly carried out in the directions of intelligent control, industrial automation, image processing, etc., including detection technologies based on neural networks, analysis and processing of bioelectrical signals, multi-sensor information fusion target detection, and model-driven small target detection network methods.

Zhilei Xu, from Jining, Shandong Province, holds a doctorate and graduated from Southwest Jiaotong University. The main research fields are as follows: 1) Key technologies and equipment for power transmission and distribution in power systems, and conducting research on key multidisciplinary technologies and equipment in important fields such as energy and electricity. 2) Intelligent operation and maintenance of new energy power stations. Mainly focusing on the research of intelligent operation and maintenance of large-scale wind-solar power stations and the grid connection control of new energy, as well as the intelligent operation and maintenance of centralized new energy under extreme environments and complex conditions. 3) Key technologies for the current collection of pantograph-catenary systems in rail transit, fault detection of pantograph-catenary systems, and the application research of low-temperature plasma modification in the field of food engineering.
In recent years, he has presided over 1 provincial key research and promotion special project (science and technology research and development), and mainly participated in 3 projects including a major integrated project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a key project of the National Natural Science Foundation, and an excellent young scientist fund project of the National Natural Science Foundation. He has also participated in 5 horizontal projects. He has won the "First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education" and the "First Prize of Science and Technology Award of the China Railway Society". He participated in the formulation of the IEEE international standard for pantograph-catenary detection (P2752), co-authored 1 English monograph on sliding electrical contact, published 7 SCI journal papers in journals such as High Voltage, Chinese Physics B, and Physics of Plasmas, and obtained authorization for 6 invention patents. Jinfeng Zheng, from Xuchang, Henan Province, holds a doctorate and is a lecturer. His main research directions include new technologies of smart grids, key technologies and equipment for power transmission and distribution in power systems, 3D reconstruction, and visual SLAM. He currently serves as the person in charge of the Power System Comprehensive Simulation Laboratory of the Electrical Specialty at Henan University of Technology, a director of the Information and Automation Branch of the Chinese Cereals and Oils Association, a director of the Henan Instrument and Meter Society, and an excellent instructor for the innovation and entrepreneurship competition of college students at Henan University of Technology. He has presided over 2 projects of the College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program of the Education Department of Henan Province, participated in and completed 1 second prize of scientific and technological achievements of the Education Department of Henan Province, participated in and completed 2 provincial key research and promotion special projects for scientific and technological research and development. In recent years, he has participated in 4 scientific research projects, including key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Excellent Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation, and general projects, and mainly participated in 3 horizontal projects.
