Precision Measurement Control and Intelligent Systems
Precision Measurement Control and Intelligent Systems Team: Focusing on intelligent sensors, artificial intelligence, and electric power measurement and control technologies, our team has long been committed to core technological research in micro/nano sensing and detection, machine vision inspection, novel perception and control, as well as their applications in food safety, healthcare, industrial automation, and power systems. We have led or participated in over 10 national and provincial-level scientific projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation, National Key Technology R&D Program, and Henan Provincial Key R&D Program. Through collaboration with industry partners, we have jointly developed more than 30 innovative sensor-based detection devices and instrumentation systems, demonstrating extensive expertise in cutting-edge research, product development, and industrial applications within the field of precision measurement and intelligent systems. Currently, there is 1 supervisor for doctoral students, 2 supervisors for master's students, and 5 enterprise supervisors for master's students.
Qunfeng Niu, male, holds a Doctor of Engineering degree, is a professor and a supervisor for doctoral students. He is the leader of the Precision Measurement and Control and Intelligent System Team at Henan University of Technology. He is recognized as a Young Backbone Teacher in Higher Education Institutions of Henan Province (2011), a visiting scholar funded by the China Scholarship Council (2017-2018 at the University of Minho, Portugal), and the Deputy Chief Technology Officer of Henan Province in 2024. He is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research work in the field of measurement and control technology and instruments. He has long been committed to the research on new sensing and detection technologies, as well as the development of instruments, equipment and automated devices in the industrial, power and other fields. He has published more than 80 academic papers, among which 17 are retrieved by SCI. He has been authorized 4 national invention patents, won 2 second prizes of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Henan Province, and 1 second prize and 1 third prize of the Scientific and Technological Achievements Award of the Chinese Cereals and Oils Association respectively. Research directions: (1) Particle size detection and particle separation technology; (2) Precision measurement technology based on machine vision; (3) Grating measurement technology.

Qiao Wang, male, is a lecturer and a supervisor for master's students. He graduated from Zhejiang University in 2019 and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics. He has presided over 1 Henan Provincial Science and Technology Research Project, 1 Henan Provincial Science and Technology Research Project (Joint Fund), and 1 Henan Provincial Postdoctoral Fund. He has participated in the development of GNSS receivers and measurement and control transponders for multiple satellite models, written 1 GF report, published 5 SCI papers, and been authorized 2 invention patents. He has long been committed to the research on precision measurement technology and the development of instruments in the industrial, power and other fields. Research directions: (1) Target detection and recognition; (2) Visual/Laser SLAM; (3) AI + Navigation and Positioning.

Chenglong Xing, male, is a lecturer. He graduated from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2022 and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Armament Science and Engineering. He is mainly engaged in the teaching and scientific research work of the automation major, and has long been committed to the research on industrial automation, intelligent control systems, and sensor fusion technology. In terms of scientific research, as the main author, he has published more than 10 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals, among which 4 are SCI papers. In addition, he has been authorized 2 invention patents. Focusing on the field of automation and intelligent control technology, his research directions are: (1) Powder particle size detection and recognition technology; (2) Intelligent perception and precise control technology; (3) Research on flow behavior analysis and optimal control.

Sainan Chen, female, is a lecturer. She graduated from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2024 and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Engineering. As the first author, she has published 3 SCI Top papers and been granted 2 patents. She is a member of the Women Scientists Working Committee of the China Power Supply Society. She has participated in the National Natural Science Foundation project, won the Gold Award in the 2nd Henan Provincial Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and co-authored a scientific and technological book related to inverter control. Research directions: (1) Advanced control of the inverter system; (2) Control of single-stage bidirectional AC/DC converters; (3) Control of resonant converters.

Chengfen Zhang, female, is a lecturer. She has published more than 10 papers in SCI/EI and other journals, presided over or participated in 7 vertical and horizontal research projects, and has 5 patents under application or authorized. She has also participated in the compilation of the ITU-T international standard for metadata. She is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research work in the fields of electrical engineering theory and electrical engineering. Her research directions are:
(1) Modeling and optimal control of new energy power systems; (2) Design and optimization of electrical equipment; (3) Chaos synchronization control.

Jiajia Cai, female, is an associate researcher. She graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2019 and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Physics. She has presided over one National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund project. As the main author, she has published 15 SCI papers, including those in Physical Review B, Journal of Luminescence, Optical Materials, Inorganic Chemistry, Journal of the American Ceramic Society and Ceramics International, etc. She is mainly engaged in the teaching work of measurement and control technology and instruments. She has long been committed to the research on the new sensing and detection mechanism and performance optimization in the field of rare earth materials and devices. Her research directions are: (1) Research on the detection mechanism of high-energy rays; (2) Research on the temperature sensing mechanism; (3) The mechanism and application of stress luminescence.

Kaiyue Qi, female, is a lecturer. She graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2023 and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Electronic Science and Technology. She has presided over and participated in 5 national and provincial-level scientific research projects. As the first author, she has published 8 academic papers in international journals such as IEEE Sensors Journal and Optics and Laser Technology. She is mainly engaged in the teaching work of the measurement and control major. Focusing on the application of optical sensors in the fields of environmental monitoring and health diagnosis, her research directions are: (1) Optical sensing technology and its applications; (2) The interdisciplinary integration of medicine and engineering in the field of optics.

Xue Han, female, is a lecturer. She graduated from Chongqing University in 2024 and obtained a Doctor of Engineering degree in Instrument Science and Technology. As the first author, she has published SCI papers in international journals such as Lab on a Chip and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, and has been authorized 2 invention patents. She is mainly engaged in the research on biological micro-electromechanical systems (BioMEMS) and microfluidic technology. Her research directions include: (1) BioMEMS processes, devices and systems; (2) New methods of biochemical sensing; (3) The application of microfluidic technology in medicine.

Afei Zhang, female, is a lecturer. She graduated from the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2024 and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Electronic Science and Technology. She is mainly engaged in the basic research on new energy solar cells and photoelectric sensors. As the first author, she has published 5 SCI papers in journals such as Chemical Engineering Journal and Small, and has been granted 1 invention patent. She has presided over one project of the Technology Innovation Fund of the Innovation Research Institute of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and participated in one key project of the National Science and Technology Commission as a technical backbone. Research directions: (1) Research on solar cell technology; (2) Photoelectric sensing technology and its applications in new energy.

Lishuang Gong, female, is a lecturer and holds a Doctor of Engineering degree. Currently, she presides over 1 Henan Provincial Science and Technology Research Project and 1 Henan Provincial Natural Science Foundation Project, and has published more than 10 SCI and EI papers. She is mainly engaged in the teaching and scientific research work in the field of measurement and control technology and instruments. She has long been committed to the research on cutting-edge basic theories such as artificial intelligence, health state modeling, and brain-computer interfaces. Research directions: (1) Physiological signal processing and artificial intelligence algorithms; (2) Multi-modal health state recognition, understanding, and expression.

Tongtao Li, male, is a lecturer. He graduated from Shanghai University in 2012 and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering. He has successively presided over 1 Natural Science Project of the Education Department of Henan Province, 1 project funded by the "Special Funds for Basic Scientific Research Business Expenses of Provincial Colleges and Universities" of Henan University of Technology, and 1 Open Fund of the Key Laboratory of Electric Drive and Control in Anhui Provincial Colleges and Universities. He has published 7 papers. He is mainly engaged in the research on complex networks and impulsive control theory. Research directions: (1) Complex networks and multi-agent control; (2) Impulsive control and advanced control algorithms.
