Navigation, Positioning and Intelligent Sensing Team (Category A)
I. Scientific Research Direction
The Navigation, Positioning and Intelligent Sensing Research Team is based on ‘Process Equipment and Lean Control Innovation Team’, which is an innovative scientific and technological team in Henan Province. The research team has 5 full-time teachers, including 1 professor, 1 associate professor, and 5 people with doctoral degrees. At present, the team has undertaken and participated in a number of research projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the key projects of the Henan Provincial Department of Education, the national and provincial innovation experimental projects for college students, etc. The team has obtained more than 20 patents and 10 scientific and technological awards and has published more than 60 scientific research papers in domestic and foreign professional journals and magazines, among which more than 30 papers have been indexed by SCI and EI. He has won one third prize for Henan Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress, three first prizes from Henan Provincial Education Department Scientific and Technological Progress, and one third prize of the China Cereals and Oils Society.
The main research directions include:
(1) Combined navigation and cooperative navigation intelligent algorithms and system integration: for the problem of cooperative navigation accuracy of large-scale multi-robot platforms, comprehensively utilize the advantages of combined navigation of wireless/inertial/vision/SLAM modes and network-based fusion of multiple communication and cooperative positioning modes to adapt to the positioning needs of different task scenarios. It mainly includes the design and development of cooperative positioning testbed, iterative verification of a cooperative fusion algorithms, and cooperative scheduling and fusion optimization of large-scale multi-robot groups.
(2) Fault prediction and health management of typical electromechanical equipment: Fault prediction and health management technology research will be carried out for typical electromechanical equipment, including power battery packs, ballscrews, linear guides, rack and pinion drives, etc. The research will mainly include the design and development of fault simulation test beds, research on fault feature extraction methods, fault detection and diagnostic methodology, iterative validation of related algorithms, and group management and operation and maintenance optimization of equipment. (3) Warfighter navigation and attitude recognition research: for operators (special forces, firefighters, etc.) in complex and special environmental conditions, carry out research on autonomous navigation and action recognition, mainly including the design and development of MEMS-grade navigation modules, research on autonomous positioning and path planning, optimization of multi-information fusion algorithms, research on attitude recognition and action capture, and research on the intersection of inertial sensors and rehabilitation medicine.

Liu Jianjuan, team leader, female, Nanyang, Henan Province, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Senior Engineer of Measurement, Control and Instrumentation, Master's tutor. She is the young backbone teacher of Henan Province, the young backbone teacher of Henan University of Technology, the deputy secretary-general of Henan Instrumentation Society, the person in charge of the innovative science and technology team of ‘Process Equipment and Lean Control Innovation Team’, the person in charge of the first-class undergraduate program of ‘Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation’, and the person in charge of the program of ‘Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation’ of New York University. He is also responsible for the national first-class undergraduate program ‘Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation’, and is a visiting scholar at the University of New Orleans, USA. In recent years, he has published more than 30 academic papers, of which 5 are EI-retrieved and 3 are SCI-retrieved. He has participated in 1 project of general assembly type, 2 projects of general assembly pre-research, 1 project of 973, 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 3 projects of Science and Technology Tackling in Henan Province, and 1 project of Natural Science Foundation of Henan Province. He has presided over and completed 8 projects at national, provincial, ministerial and local levels, among which 1 project won the third prize of Henan Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress, 2 projects won the first prize of Henan Provincial Department of Education's Scientific and Technological Progress, and the project he participated in as the second finisher won the third prize of the China Society of Cereals and Oils, and the first prize of Henan Provincial Department of Education's Scientific and Technological Progress. At present, he is presiding over or participating in 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project of Key Science and Technology Research Project of Henan Province, 1 project of Cultivation Program for Young Backbone Teachers in Higher Education Institutions of Henan Province, and 1 project of Support Program of Henan Polytechnic University's Self-discipline Innovation Fund. Chen Hongmei, female, Qianjiang, Hubei, Doctor of Engineering, Associate Professor, Master's Tutor. She is a young backbone teacher of Henan University of Technology. Main research directions: inertial navigation for perception of intelligent unmanned systems in micro-complex environments, satellite navigation, visual navigation, cooperative navigation, automatic driving, information fusion and fault diagnosis and reconstruction. He has published more than 30 academic papers, of which 8 are SCI searches, 4 are EI searches, 12 national invention patents have been authorized /accepted, and he has made 3 conference reports in international academic conferences outside China. He has participated in 2 projects of General Armament Pre-Research Project, 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 projects of Science and Technology Research Project of Henan Province, and 1 project of Natural Science Foundation of Henan Province. He has presided over and completed 6 projects at national, provincial, ministerial and local levels. Currently, he is presiding over 1 project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project of Key Science and Technology Tackling Project of Henan Province, 1 project of Key Laboratory of Ministry of Education, and 1 project of Hai Zhi Plan of Henan Provincial Association for Science and Technology. Yuan Hang, Male, Lecturer, Doctor of Engineering, Master's Degree Supervisor. His main research interests are power battery and energy storage system health management, electromechanical equipment fault diagnosis, and industrial data mining. He has presided over one scientific and technological research project in Henan Province and several horizontal projects. Participated in the National Natural Fund Project, National Defence 973 Project, National Defence Technology Foundation Project, etc., and won the first prize of provincial and ministerial level. In recent years, he has published more than 10 academic papers, including 7 SCI retrieved papers; 4 national invention patents, 2 utility model patents, and 3 national invention patents. Ji Miaoxin, male, Han nationality, Pingdingshan, Henan Province. Doctor of Engineering, Associate Professor, Master Supervisor. His main research interests include: autonomous positioning and path planning under man-portable navigation system, cross-expansion of MEMS-grade inertial sensors and lower limb rehabilitation medicine, and gesture recognition and motion capture for special operators (special forces, firefighters, etc.). In the past three years, he has published 5 high-level SCI/EI papers as the first author (including: IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement; IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics; IEEE Sensors Journal, etc.). He has been granted/accepted 4 national invention patents and 2 utility model patents. He has participated in 1 project of the National 13th Five-Year Plan, 1 project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 projects of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and 2 projects of Science and Technology Tackling in Henan Province.
