Yuanqing Xia, Ph.D., President of Zhongyuan Institute of Technology/Chair Professor at Beijing Institute of Technology, doctoral supervisor, specially appointed professor of the Ministry of Education's "Changjiang Scholars" program, recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund, and leading talent of the National "Ten Thousand Talents Program" IEEE Fellow、Expert who enjoys special allowances from the State Council. Serving as a member of the 8th Discipline Evaluation Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, a member of the Big Data Expert Committee of the Chinese Computer Society, Vice Chairman of the Internet of Things Working Committee of the Chinese Instrumentation Society, and Chairman of the Cloud Control and Decision making Professional Committee of the Chinese Command and Control Society; Serving as an editorial board member for the international journal 'International Journal of Automation and Computing' 《Gyroscopy and Navigation》、 Editorial board member of the Journal of Automation, editorial board member of publications such as Control Theory and Applications, and Control and Decision Making.

Information processing and control of complex systems with multiple sources of information, aircraft control, collaborative control of unmanned mobile platforms, integrated network collaborative control of air, space, and earth, cloud control and decision-making, etc.

Published over 300 academic papers in important academic journals both domestically and internationally, authored 20 English monographs and 3 textbooks in both Chinese and English, and has been consistently included in Elsevier's list of highly cited scholars in China since 2014. Has won one second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2011 (ranked second), the first prize of Natural Science Award of Automation Society in 2023 (ranked first), the first prize of Science and Technology Award of Command and Control Society in 2019 (ranked first), one second prize of Natural Science Award of Ministry of Education in 2012 and 2017 (ranked first), two second prizes of Science and Technology Award of Beijing Municipality in 2010 and 2015 (ranked first), and the second prize of Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Natural Science Award in 2018 (ranked first); Received the 2012 Beijing Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Supervisor Award and the 2015 Chinese Society of Automation Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Supervisor Award.
